Serious piece of equipment

Review Date: December 25, 2007
Reviewer: Keith Hermiz,
I own several pieces from Body Solid and this one lives up to the expectation set by the others: well engineered, well built, good assembly instructions. I'm over 200 pounds and this gear doesn't flinch. It's more expensive than something you'd get from the local sporting goods store but the fact they send along touch-up paint is revealing. This apparatus will be needing to have it's nicks and scuffs touched up long after lesser gear is heading to the dump.
Eh not too bad

I've had this for a month now. The product is decent. Wish it was a little higher, but I guess it's good for a home gym. I'm 5'9 and I can't hang with legs straight. It didn't take much to put it together. It's definitly sturdy. I weigh 245lbs and have no problems with it. Overall it's good for pull ups, chin ups, dips and knee raises. Probably worth the price.
Great exercise tool, difficult to put together

Reviewer: Eric the Red,
This is a great product for the money. Solid and sturdy enough to hold my 230 pound body. However, this is not an easy tower to put together. The instructions consist of pictures that are difficult to follow at times. Still much worth the money and worth the assembly time.
Tower of Power

Reviewer: John A. Scherer,
The assembly instructions were relatively easy to follow. This power tower is made in China, it says on a sticker that comes stuck on one of the support bars. American designed, of course. Assembly was a bit of task though. At one point you need to pull the to vertical beams together and put the middle hanging bar between them, which is not a smooth task. I'm 6'8" and I feel comfortable using this. If you're smaller using this is should not be a problem.
