| I picked up this model a few weeks ago basically because I got tried of fiddling with the preacher attachment on my exercise bench. Small footprint, but large adjustable height seat and extra large THICK preacher pad with high quality covering and heavy duty steel through out. If you're serious about working on your arms don't make the mistake I did by getting a bench that has a preacher attachement and thinking you'll be all set. Putting it on and taking it off to trade between the usual leg extension attachment many benches comes with gets old fast and most have a very small preacher pad that barely does the job, little more than some cheap plywood with thin plastic covering and if you're luckly only a high and low adjustment of the pad... worse you need to thread a tension scew off and on to hold it in place. That's why THIS free standing preacher bench pays for itself just in the time you save. This is the better way to go. |
